Detectives are appealing for information following a robbery in Batley last week.
The incident happened on Tuesday 26 June at around 6.00pm when the victim, an Asian female, was walking down St James Street, near to Batley bus station, when she was approached by a male.
The suspect grabbed her handbag and forced the victim to the ground, who was then dragged a short distance.
The victim’s purse was stolen during the incident and the suspect ran off towards the Aldi supermarket.
The suspect is described as an Asian male, between 16 and 20-years-old, 6ft tall, medium build with spikey hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a collar, white trousers and spoke with an English accent.
