Families are being invited to enjoy a free day of dragons, fairies, crafts and entertainment when Cliffe Castle Museum hosts a special fantasy-themed event.
Families are being invited to spread their wings and enjoy a magical day of dragons and fairies at Cliffe Castle Museum in Keighley.
The free event takes place on Tuesday 25 August from 11am until 3pm, with the Bradford Council-run museum and park transformed into a world of fantasy, creativity and adventure.
Children are being encouraged to dress as their favourite dragon or fairy character, with a range of activities and entertainment taking place throughout the day.
Highlights will include performances and appearances from Northwind Tribal Dancers, along with the chance to meet Cliffe Castle's official mascot, Bracewell the Dragon.
The Cottingley Fairy History Society will also be attending, celebrating the area's world-famous links with the Cottingley Fairies.
Children can take part in fairy-themed crafts and dragon activities, while Fairies Wardrobe will provide face painting and there will be appearances from fairy folk.
Families can also bring along their favourite teddy bear for a special teddy bears' picnic with Bradford Libraries.
Other activities will include information from Keighley Healthy Living and opportunities for younger children to discover the 50 Things to Do Before You're Five initiative.
Councillor Ian Walker, Bradford Council's Executive Member for Neighbourhoods and Communities, said the event would bring together local organisations and performers to create an unforgettable experience for children and their families.
The event is completely free and no advance booking is required.
