Thousands of people are still affected by unsafe cladding more than a year after the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
Official government figures show over 400 high-rise residential buildings still have the same type of external covering blamed for the rapid spread of the deadly blaze.
The BBC has highlighted two structures in Leeds city centre - the 128-flat Skyline Apartments complex and the 235-bed Saxton Parade - that still have the Aluminium Composite Material now identified as dangerous.
A spokesperson for Skyline said they are working “to make the building safer” and have introduced fire wardens. They claim work has begun to remove the cladding.
The managers of Saxton Parade said the costs of repair work will be collecting from the National House Building Council or individual leaseholders at the property.
