A Keighley man involved in a drugs line operating across West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Lancashire has been jailed for four and a half years.
A Bradford district drug dealer linked to a county lines operation supplying heroin and crack cocaine has been jailed.
Iyaz Iqbal, 37, of Whin Knoll Avenue, Keighley, was identified during an investigation by Operation Phoenix, West Yorkshire Police’s county lines taskforce.
Officers received information that a mobile phone number was being used to supply drugs, with messages linking the so-called ‘Jake Line’ to Iqbal.
On 10 February 2026, police executed a warrant at his home address in Keighley.
Officers recovered four mobile phones, including the confirmed dealer line, as well as cannabis, steroids, another phone and £1,727.50 in cash.
A large wooden baseball bat was also found behind the front door.
Police then identified a vehicle on the street and recovered a significant quantity of heroin and crack cocaine from inside, with an estimated value of more than £15,000.
The drugs line was operating between Keighley, North Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Iqbal pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on Wednesday 27 August to four years and six months in prison.
He admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, possession of criminal property and possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Detective Inspector Helen Chapman, who heads Operation Phoenix, said drug supply fuels further crime and violence and causes misery for users and their families.
She said the taskforce would continue working to disrupt and dismantle county lines drug dealing.
