Research has revealed that Yorkshire and the Humber are the happiest places to work in Britain, according to three quarters of its employees.
The study, carried out by recruitment firm Robert Half, found that 77% of those questioned in Yorkshire and the Humber said they are happy at work, above the national average of 63%.
The research also revealed that that 74% of employees in the region find their work interesting and that 88% get on well with their team.
According to the study, Britain’s most unsatisfied employees are those working in Scotland and the South of England, with 17% of employees saying they are unhappy at work and one in six expressing that their work is not interesting.
