Students in a block of flats in Bradford were evacuated after the building failed a fire safety test.
Appleton Point, on Hamm Strasse in the city centre, has 160 bedrooms and opened five years ago as a flagship £9 million development.
However, last night its residents were given notice to leave by 9.00am this morning (14 February).
A letter sent out to the residents from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said options for those evicted include “emergency temporary accommodation arranged by Bradford Council”.
