Ticket machines in car parks on Prescott Street, Union Street and North Bridge in Halifax town centre are among those that have been targeted, as well as machines in Akroyd Place, Delph Street and Cripplegate.
The offences are believed to have happened between 12 and 18 May and all are thought to have occurred between midnight and 7am.
Extensive damage has been caused to the machines and a large quantity of cash has been taken.
A spokesperson from Calderdale Council said: “these thefts are costing the Council – and local taxpayers – a significant amount of money.”
