Bradford Festival is to be opened by over 1400 singing and dancing school children in Bradford’s Centenary Square on Friday 13 July.
The pupils will be taking part in Bradford Festival Schools’ Day - an opportunity for pupils from across the district to watch live performances on stage, take part in The Big Sing and the Big Dance, and experience workshops in various different art genres.
The pupils will take part in a range of performances in various styles with everything from Samba to Pop choirs.
Following the school children’s performance, a number of musical acts will take to the stage as the Bradford Festival programme gets underway for the weekend.
