An investigation has been launched following allegations of racial abuse at a school in Stockport.
Mobile phone footage appears to show a 14-year-old Asian pupil being targeted with racist comments outside the gates of Priestnall School in Heaton Mersey on Thursday, 6 July.
The girl’s mother claims her daughter has been the victim of bullying at the school for three-years and has regularly been called ‘ISIS’ by other pupils.
Her daughter has now been withdrawn from the school and an investigation is underway between both Greater Manchester Police and Stockport Council.
It is believed they are also investigating allegations of abusive messages sent to the girl via Snapchat and another allegation that the mother of the girl was threatened by one of the parents of the alleged bullies after she went to visit her on Wednesday.
