Police are investigating following the death of a man in Bolton.
At around 11.35am on Friday the 10th of February 2017, police were called by the ambulance service to an address on Emmanuel Place in Dean, Bolton.
Shortly before police were called, the ambulance service had attended the property following reports a man had taken ill. When the ambulance service arrived, a disruption inside the property caused the paramedics to seek police support.
Police discovered a man who was unconscious but breathing. The paramedics administered treatment but the man sadly died.
A 41-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and remain in police custody for questioning.
Detective Inspector Danny Brophy, of GMP’s Bolton Borough, said: “We are still in the early stages of our investigation and are continuing to make detailed enquiries to establish the circumstances which led to this death.”
Anyone with any concerns is asked to contact police via 101.
