Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage after a man reported being raped in Slough.
Thames Valley Police says the incident is reported to have happened between 1am and 1.30am on Tuesday, 22 September.
The victim, a man in his twenties, was walking over the bridge on Lansdowne Avenue before crossing the road at the bottom of the bridge and entering a long alleyway just beyond Pickford Gardens.
Police say he was approached by a man who shouted at him before exposing himself and raping him.
The suspect is described as a white man in his early twenties, of skinny build, with short brown hair. He is believed to be between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 9ins tall and spoke with an English accent.
Detective Inspector Liam Butler said officers were investigating the report “thoroughly and extensively”, with door-to-door enquiries and CCTV checks being carried out.
Police have also increased their presence in the area to provide reassurance to residents while enquiries continue.
Detectives particularly want to hear from motorists who may have dash-cam footage from the area around the time of the reported offence, as well as anyone who witnessed any part of the incident.
The investigation remains at an early stage.
