A convicted drug dealer who sold Class A drugs to undercover police officers, including from a private hire office at Keighley railway station, has been ordered to repay £170,000.
A Keighley drug dealer who sold heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine to undercover police officers has been ordered to pay back £170,000 under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Nahmaan Sakander, 45, of Southlands Drive, Keighley, was jailed for 11 years and seven months in June 2025 after admitting three counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
He was one of four men sentenced at Bradford Crown Court for their involvement in an organised drug-dealing operation in Keighley.
The court previously heard that between June and November 2023, Sakander and the other defendants sold drugs to undercover officers through the “Barry” drug line. Some of the transactions took place inside the offices of Central Private Hire at Keighley railway station.
Sakander also admitted an offence involving criminal property, with £80,890 in cash recovered from his home following his arrest.
At Bradford Crown Court on Tuesday, a confiscation hearing found Sakander had benefited from his offending by £170,000.
The court was told he had assets valued at £289,912.36, calculated from cash seized by police and his interests in two properties.
Judge Ahmed Nadim ordered Sakander to pay the £170,000 within three months. He warned that failure to comply would result in an additional 21 months in prison.
Sakander was convicted alongside Haroon Ishaq, 36, Naveed Hussain, 36, and Arsalan Syed Shah, 26, who also admitted three counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
The investigation formed part of West Yorkshire Police's Operation Saintpond, targeting county lines drug supply between West and North Yorkshire.
Police previously said the operation resulted in more than 60 arrests, with 31 people convicted and sentences totalling more than 96 years at the time those figures were released.
