Detectives are appealing for witnesses and footage after a man was found with serious injuries near the Pagoda in Manchester’s Chinatown in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police are appealing for information after a man was found seriously injured in Manchester’s Chinatown.
Greater Manchester Police officers were called to Nicholas Street, near the Pagoda, at around 4.50am on Saturday, 26 September.
A man was found with serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains receiving treatment.
Detectives are now working to establish how the man sustained his injuries and say they are keeping an open mind while enquiries continue.
Police currently believe there is no wider risk to the community.
No arrests have been made.
Officers particularly want to hear from anyone who was around the Pagoda in Chinatown between 3am and 5am and may have witnessed anything relevant to the investigation.
