Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted while walking home in Derby.
The 39-year-old woman was walking along Harriet Street, in the direction of Twyford Street, at about 11.30pm on Saturday, October 15.
As she walked, she was grabbed by a man who then assaulted her and left her with injuries to her face.
Police believe there to have been a number of people in the area at the time and want to hear from anyone who heard the victim scream or shout out for help.
Officers have also issued a description of the suspect.
He was aged between 40 and 45, about 5ft 4ins, and had a dark complexion, possibly of Asian or Eastern European origin. He was wearing a black bomber jacket and jeans.
