Police are appealing for information following a reported offence of outraging public decency in Earlsheaton Park, Dewsbury.
The 29-year-old victim was walking along an isolated wooden path with an eight-year-old girl and another 29-year-old man between 6.45pm and 7pm on Tuesday, 17 May, when he has seen a man committing a lewd act. The man has made comments towards the victim and continued his actions.
The man is described as white, aged between 40 and 50-years-old, around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, of skinny build, with dark brown hair tied in to a ponytail. He had a cobweb tattoo under his right eye and was wearing black or navy jeans, white pumps and had a black bag on his back with string straps.
PC Rosaleen Hird, of Dewsbury & Mirfield Partnership Working Area, said: "This man has reportedly been committing a lewd act in the vicinity of the victim's young child and other children. The victim has been able to provide a detailed description of the man involved, which includes a distinctive facial tattoo. We would urge anyone who believes they know the identity of this man to please contact us immediately.
"Similarly, we are keen to speak to anyone else who was in the park area who recalls seeing this man.
