Officers from a multi-agency operation targeting organised criminality in Greater Manchester have executed a number of warrants.
This morning, officers executed warrants at nine addresses across Stockport, which resulted in 11 arrests.
The raids, took 12 months to plan and more than 300 police officers took part.
Detective Inspector Chris Flint said “This is the culmination of a lot of hard work and a very complex investigation.”
“Right from the start we have had community intelligence. Without that information this investigation would not have started.”
“The community voiced their concerns and we acted. Without the community support we would not have been in position we are in today.”
