A Bradford youngster has been awarded the National Intermediate Apprentice of the Year.
Yorkshire Housing apprentice Muhammad Uddin was handed the accolade at the Apprentice Awards 2018.
The awards showcase the diverse range of sectors engaged with apprenticeships and celebrate those such as Muhammad, who go above and beyond to champion apprenticeships.
Muhammad started his Yorkshire Housing apprenticeship straight after leaving school, joining the benefits and advice team. Within 12 months he achieved his level two business admin qualifications and successfully secured a role as customer complaints apprentice, enabling him to do his level three business admin qualification. Recently he was shortlisted in the top 20 Young Leader Inside Housing finalist awards.
He said: “Apprenticeships are growing by the day and it is good to be recognised and rewarded for our constant hard work and determination.
“My apprenticeships at Yorkshire Housing have enabled me to develop my skills and abilities by giving me hands-on experience across the business. Hard work and determination equals big rewards.”
