Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information after a motorbike rider suffered several broken bones after a collision in Altrincham.
Shortly before 8.55pm on Friday 6 July, police were called to reports of a collision on Hale Road.
A black Lexmoto motorbike had been travelling along Hale Road when it was involved in a collision with a silver Chevrolet Cruze at the junction with Park Road.
The rider of the motorbike – a man in his 20s – was taken to hospital where he was treated for two broken ankles and a broken wrist.
The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Police Constable Peter Hamnett-Steen, of GMP’s Road Policing Unit, said: “The motorbike rider was left in hospital for a number of days and our thoughts remain with him as he recovers from this incident.
“Hale Road was closed for over three hours while investigative work was carried out but we want to appeal to any witnesses to please get in touch.
“We are continuing to piece together the exact circumstances that led to this collision so if you have any information or dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation, please call us.”
