Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team are the latest group in the district to benefit from money returned under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
10 specialist harnesses were bought using money seized from criminals. The harnesses were presented to the Equipment Officer Richard Smith and Deputy Team Leader Jonathan Cole at Halifax Police Station.
A police spokesperson said that money taken from criminals under the Proceeds of Crime Act ‘is going directly back to support the wider community’.
