Police are appealing for help to find a teenage girl who went missing from her home in Coventry.
Sandeep Kaur Samra left her home in the Foleshill area of the city at around 4.30pm on Thursday (5 May) and has not been seen since.
The 16-year-old is described as Asian, 5ft 2ins tall, slim build, shoulder length wavy black hair and brown eyes.
She speaks with a local midlands accent and was last seen wearing a black padded waist-length coat, a white and yellow striped t-shirt, blue jeans and black ankle length books. She is also believed to be carrying a rucksack.
The teenager has not been missing before and officers are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Inspector Dave Langston, from Coventry Police, said: “This is out of character for Sandeep and we need to get in touch with her to check she is safe and well.
“If you’ve seen Sandeep or have any information about where she might be, please give us a call as soon as possible on 101.
“I also want to appeal directly to Sandeep – please get in touch by calling us on the phone or visiting your nearest police station. We just want to make sure you are okay.”
Anyone with any information should contact Coventry Police on 101 or call the Missing People charity on 116 000.
