A man who injured four people during 10 seconds of carnage in Bradford has been jailed.
Mohammed Zaheer, 41, was driving a high-powered red Honda Civic CRX at speed in Laisterdyke on 14 October and was ordered to stop.
Bradford Crown Court heard that Zaheer rammed through a police blockade, ran a red light and smashed into a Suzuki Alto which then collided with a VW Jetta.
Four men, two from each of the other crashed cars, were injured. The driver of the Alto came away with the most severe injuries - fractured ribs and a broken right shoulder.
Zaheer, who has a record of 90 driving offences stretching back over 20 years, was jailed for 22 months and banned from driving for seven years and eight months.
