The Lord Mayor Councillor Geoff Reid and Lady Mayoress Chris Reid will be going out on patrol with the Duty Manager and volunteers from the Bradford Street Angels tonight.
The Street Angels work closely with the police, ambulance service, CCTV operators and door staff at pubs and clubs and are a high profile presence that helps to keep people safe when they are on a night out in Bradford city centre.
Councillor Geoff Reid, said: "The Street Angel volunteers make such a valuable contribution to helping people in the city centre to feel safe, whether they are on a night out to the pub, restaurant, theatre or are just passing through.
"As strong supporters of a safe and vibrant city centre night scene, we welcome an opportunity to encourage a partnership that helps people to enjoy themselves together and then go home feeling good about themselves and positive about the heart of our city.”
