A man appeared in court yesterday charged with murder in relation to the death of a man in Leeds last week.
Kearon Barker, aged 30, of Cardinal Crescent, Beeston, Leeds, appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court yesterday morning charged over the death of Keith Harrower, who was also known as Joshua French.
Mr Harrower died after being stabbed in an incident outside the Premier supermarket, in Dewsbury Road, Beeston, shortly before 5.30pm on Thursday, December 12.
Barker, who has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, was remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Crown Court today.
A 33-year-old man, who was arrested in Leeds on Sunday, December 15 on suspicion of murder, remains in custody.
Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man, who was also arrested on Friday, December 13 on suspicion of murder, has been released without charge.
A 36-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of earlier linked offences of aggravated burglary and robbery has been released on bail.
