A gang in Leeds have been banned from touching vehicles.
Five men and six youths have been banned from touching any motor vehicle in West Yorkshire as part of a police and council crackdown on motorbike theft and related anti-social behaviour.
The group were identified as being linked to an organised gang behind an upsurge in the theft of motorbikes across Leeds that fuelled motorbike-related anti-social behaviour centred on the Seacroft area throughout 2017.
CCTV evidence showed how the gang, which particularly targeted the city centre, had perfected their techniques to the point where they could steal a properly secured motorcycle in as little as 10 seconds.
