The “Leeds 400” initiative invites residents to collectively travel 400 miles through activities such as walking, running and cycling. The challenge is designed to promote healthier lifestyles while bringing communities together.
Organisers say the campaign is open to people of all ages and abilities, with individuals, schools and community groups all encouraged to take part. The aim is to make physical activity accessible, enjoyable and inclusive for everyone.
The initiative also forms part of wider celebrations highlighting Leeds’ heritage, while encouraging people to explore their local areas and stay active.
