Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation into non-recent sexual offences in Ashton-under-Lyne and Salford.
Operation Kersey was launched following reports of sexual abuse and rape, which occurred in the 1970s at two Fosters Menswear stores, which have both since closed down.
Officers are currently in the process of speaking to victims in person and providing them with specialist support.
An 80-year-old man has been interviewed under caution and the investigation is ongoing.
