A man has been jailed after framing his brother-in-law as a terrorist.
Manchester Crown Court heard how Usman Ahmed, 32, spent months organising a scheme that saw the victim arrested and locked up.
It is believed Ahmed was angry after the victim split up with his sister following a brief arranged marriage.
The offender tracked the suspect's movements, planted evidence, and then made an anonymous false report that the victim was planning attacks on Sikh temples.
Ahmed was jailed for five years and four months. He was also served a seven-year restraining order.
