A team of military personnel and injured veterans are climbing a Himalayan peak in a project coordinated by a Leeds university.
The expedition has been organised so that the climbers reach the summit of Mera Peak to coincide with Remembrance Day on 11 November, to honour those who lost their lives in conflict.
The climb to the 21,247ft (6,476m) summit is led by Leeds Beckett University and Battle Back Centre, the Royal British Legion's recovery unit.
