A free-runner came to the aid of a woman in Manchester, talking her out of committing suicide.
24-year-old Adam Marr, one of the region’s leading free-runners, was practising his skills in Ancoats when he spotted a woman lying across the road in the path of oncoming traffic.
He ran over to her and helped move her on to the pavement. He consoled her and calmed her down for around 20 minutes, before emergency services arrived.
A picture taken by another good Samaritan, of Adam smiling as he sits on the floor next to the woman, has since gone viral.
The woman was taken to hospital by Greater Manchester Police.
