Fire crews have tackled a major blaze in Bradford City Centre which hit a multi-storey building in the Bridge Street/Sunbridge Road area overnight.
The fire broke out in one of the floors above the Royal Bet shop on Bridge Street, which resulted in firefighters arriving at the scene and using aerial ladders to fight the flames.
There was also a separate incident in Girlington, where there was a fire on Girlington Road, which caused road closures in its vicinity.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters were called to the scene at 9.10pm last night.
Six fire engines, one aerial platform and supporting resources and officers were in attendance.
Police said it is not thought anyone has been injured in the incident.
A spokesperson from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue department confirmed that fire crews had remained at the scene of both incidents this morning, damping down and ensuring the fires don’t reignite.
