Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was seriously injured on a pedestrian crossing in Leeds.
From initial enquiries it is understood that the 80-year-old female pedestrian had fallen after moving out of the way of an oncoming bus at around 2.50pm on Monday 4 December on Wakefield Road.
The bus did not stop at the scene and officers are searching for the driver and for any passengers on the vehicle.
The injured woman is receiving treatment at Leeds General Infirmary for a pelvis injury.
