Police are appealing for information after a doorman was stabbed outside a nightclub in Manchester city centre.
At 4am on Sunday 11th December 2016, a group of men were queuing outside LIV nightclub on Peter Street in Manchester when they tried to force their way inside. The doorman stopped them and during a short altercation he was stabbed in the thigh. He was taken to hospital where he was treated for a stab wound.
Detective Constable Terry Macmillan of GMP’s City of Manchester Team said: “Such acts of violence have no place in our city and we will not tolerate knives on our streets. There were a lot of people queuing outside the club the time, and if you were one of them and saw what happened, I would urge you to get in touch. Someone will know him and if you do, I want you to do the right thing and contact the police on 101”
