The University of Bradford is holding a conference to give teachers an insight into higher education developments and emerging topics.

The conference, for teachers and advisers at schools and colleges, will explore current hot topics and provide delegates with updated practical information to take back to their workplace.

The day includes a presentation and Q&A from UCAS Chief Executive Clare Marchant, sessions on apprenticeships and examples of Bradford research with talks on AI, internet trolling and augmented reality.

There will also be opportunities to network and take a tour of the University.

Mark Garratt, Director of External Affairs at the University of Bradford, said: “We hold this conference to not only engage with teachers but to provide a platform for teachers to network and share ideas and experiences. It is so important that teachers have a handle on higher education issues so that they can be in the best place to prepare and advise their students.”

The free conference takes place on Tuesday 10 July at the city centre campus.
