Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a collision in Honley which left a cyclist with serious injuries.
The incident occurred around 10.36 on Sunday 3/7 on Huddersfield Road, near the junction of Magdale when a silver Mercedes was involved in a collision with a cyclist.
PC Peter Doyle of the Safer Roads and Neighbourhoods Support Team West said; "We are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have been in the area yesterday morning, and may have seen either the cyclist, or the Mercedes prior to the incident, or who witnessed the collision itself to come forward. In particular, we believe there may have been a red Vauxhall Corsa at the junction of Magdale, turning in to Huddersfield Road towards Honley, and would appeal to the driver to come forward as it is possible they may hold vital information. Enquiries are continuing.
The cyclist, a 68-year-old-man remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Peter Doyle at SRANS W via 101, quoting 597 of July 3.
