Three teenage boys have been jailed after they pleaded guilty to three robberies in Bradford.
Two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old, who are all from Bradford but cannot be named because of their ages, were sentenced at Bradford Crown Court yesterday (12 July).
The robberies, in which one victim was stabbed and one shot with an air gun, happened in or close to the city centre between 25 and 30 December last year.
One of the 16-year-old boys received a sentence of seven and a half years. The other was jailed for five years.
The 15-year-old boy was sentenced to four years.
Detective Constable Hannah Mansell, of Bradford District CID, said: “We hope this outcome will be of satisfaction to the victims and that people in Bradford will feel safer knowing these males are no longer on the streets.
“We also hope it demonstrates that West Yorkshire Police takes violent crime seriously and will investigate all offences to bring perpetrators to justice.”
