A student from Bradford who hid nearly £100,000 worth of cocaine in a shoebox in his bedroom has been jailed.
Police found the stash during a raid of Awais Hussain’s house on Rufus Street, Little Horton, Bradford, on 21 February.
Bradford Crown Court heard how the 20-year-old directed officers to various packages and bags of class A drugs hidden around the property.
One bag of heroin worth £4,600 and a substantial amount of cash were also recovered.
Hussain pleaded guilty to three charges of the possession of class A drugs with an intent to supply.
He was ordered to serve a sentence of four years and eight months in a young offenders’ institution.
