The college was up against the British Army, The Muslim Council of Britain, Muslim Aid, Cardiff University, The Arts Council of Scotland, Channel 4 and The West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner in the Diversity Champion category, with the latter pipping the college to the top prize.
Mohammed Azeem, Student Base Team Leader, said: “Finishing second is not bad up against the big giants in our category. Well done to the Bradford College Student Base team and well done to the West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner.”
