A Bradford-based property company is thought to be the first outside of London to list a property in the online currency Bitcoin.
The company, based in Little Germany, has put up a two-bed terrace house in Leeds for 10 Bitcoin, currently the equivalent of £60,000.
Bitcoin is a ‘cryptocurrency’ that was introduced online in 2009 and currently has between three and six million users worldwide.
It is believed the property company was approached by a seller who works in the tech industry and was looking to increase his Bitcoin portfolio.
