Bradford Council with the support of the Local Government Association and NHS Digital are developing artificial intelligence in adult social care.
They are developing plans for a Digital Navigation Tool, with Rescon Technologies, which the council says is aimed to take the pressure off front line access services.
The council added that “whilst it is recognised social care services will always need personal contact, the aim of the Digital Navigation Tool is to enhance the delivery of best practice human centred services, not to detract from or replace them”.
Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Portfolio Holder for Healthy People and Places said: “This is an exciting time for us in Bradford as we head into a new digital era of Artificial Intelligence, piloting this new navigation tool. We are looking forward to working with the Local Government Association and Rescon in seeing how this may benefit and possibly transform our future front line Access Services.”
