Authorities in Pakistan have issued arrest warrants for the mother and sister of a former Bradford woman believed to have been the victim of a so-called "honour killing".
28 year old Samia Shahid, from Bradford, died in Pakistan in July initially her family claimed due to a heart attack. However after concerns were raised by her second husband and local Bradford MP Naz Shah a police post mortem determined her cause of death had been strangulation. It has been claimed her family did not approve of her second marriage. Her father and first husband have been held in connection with her death until their next court appearance on November 11th.
Her mother, Imtiaz BiBi, and sister, Madiha Shahid have been declared proclaimed offenders in Pakistan.
A judge issued arrest warrants when they did not appear in court.
