Police have made an arrest after a boy was stabbed in Salford.
Shortly after 8.50am on Tuesday 26 September, police received a report that a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed on Chorley Road in Swinton.
He was taken to hospital where he is being treated for multiple stab wounds and is in a stable condition.
At about 9.00am in the morning, police received a report that two boys tried to gain entry to a school on Sefton Road in Pendlebury.
Officers attended and discovered that there was also a boy carrying a knife.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody for questioning.
