Police have recovered mobile phone footage after a man was stabbed with scissors in Manchester city Centre shortly after 9.30pm on Tuesday 22 November 2016.
A group of youths went into a fast food restaurant at Piccadilly Gardens but were asked to leave by a staff member, after causing a disturbance.
The group left but then returned, one individual proceeded to kick the door repeatedly and a girl then stabbed the victim in the arm with scissors, before fleeing. The man was taken to hospital where he was treated for a stab wound to his arm.
The main offender is described as a girl around 14-16-years-old, black, with back curly hair.
Police have launched an investigation and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the attack.
Detective Constable Louise Kelly of GMPs City of Manchester Team said: “This was a violent and unprovoked attack on a man, who was just doing his job. The group were behaving aggressively and there may have been a number of people who witnessed the incident and they may hold key information.”
