An 18-year-old mother stabbed her husband’s mistress after spotting her in the park.
Natasha Khan was sentenced to three years and four months in a young offenders institute after pleading guilty to wounding with intent and failing to answer her bail.
Khan, 18, stabbed Leah Cryne six times after they both crossed paths near Alexandra Park in Whalley Range, Manchester.
The court heard how Khan had discovered her husband; Hamza Farid was secretly seeing Miss Cryne.
Police arrived to the incident which took place in April, last year and found the victim lying on the floor with her arms and face covered in blood.
Miss Cryne had a 1.5cm deep cut to her shoulder, 4cm cut to her arm and a 2cm graze to her head.
