Greater Manchester Police have arrested three youths after recovering firearms and other weapons from a property in Partington.
Police were called to Cumberland Road after a member of the public heard glass smashing and saw three men banging on the door of home on Saturday 10 November at 11.19pm.
One of the youths was waving what is believed to be a handgun in the air before the others entered the property.
Police attended the address and recovered a revolver and iPhone from a plant pot in the front garden before finding a rucksack containing an air pistol and pistol bag.
They also recovered two air rifles, a hunting knife, a large electric probe and a small quantity of suspected cocaine inside a toy parrot.
The three juvenile males – who were arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms - have been released under investigation pending further enquiries
Detective Inspector Simon Akker, of GMP’s Trafford division, said: “Three juvenile males were arrested for firearms offences and we are carrying out a thorough examination of the items recovered.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have seen these youths acting suspiciously in the Cumberland Road area on Saturday evening to come forward with information.
“If anyone has information, please contact our team on 0161 856 0948 quoting incident number 2541 of 10 November 2018.”
