Bradford Council has appointed David Watson as its new Assistant Director for Culture, Policy and Events to build on the district’s cultural growth.
Bradford Council has appointed David Watson as its new Assistant Director for Culture, Policy and Events.
The role will focus on shaping cultural policy, supporting major events and building on the district’s cultural momentum following its year as UK City of Culture.
Bradford Council said Watson will play a key role in strengthening Bradford’s position as a leading cultural destination, while ensuring that future investment benefits communities across the district.
The council added that the position will help drive forward long-term ambitions around arts, heritage and events, supporting growth, participation and opportunities for residents.
