A group of young artists from Bradford have had their WWI project recognised at a parliamentary reception.
New Focus, a group of 16 to 25-year-olds based at the Impressions Gallery in City Park, visited the House of Commons to showcase their contribution to marking 100 years since the end of the Great War at an event organised by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The group worked in partnership with Impressions Gallery, The Peace Museum, the University of Leeds, and the Imperial War Museum, investigating photographs made by women who worked as nurses, ambulance drivers, official photographers and peace campaigners during the conflict.
