Detectives are appealing for information following a knifepoint robbery at a Leeds carpark.
The incident happened at around 6.25pm on Monday 12 November at a car park on David Street when the victim, a 36-year-old woman, was walking to her car.
As she got close to the vehicle, she was approached by a man holding a knife. The suspect pushed the victim to the ground and took the car keys from her hand.
A second male appeared and both men made off in the vehicle.
The victim required hospital treatment for a cut to the back of her head sustained in the incident.
The victim’s vehicle, a silver Audi Q5, was found by officers abandoned on Sayner Lane in the city centre on Tuesday 13 November.
Detective Sergeant Ni Khan, of Leeds District Crime Team, said: “This was obviously a frightening incident for the victim and we are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace those involved.
“This is a busy part of the city centre and I would ask for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who saw two men acting suspiciously in the area to contact police.
“I would also appeal for anyone who saw a silver Audi Q5 driving from the car park on David Street or saw it in the Sayner Lane area before it was abandoned to contact officers.”
