Police are looking for information after a woman was raped in Manchester City Centre.
At around 1am on Sunday 9 July, police were called to Bloom Street to reports that a woman had been sexually assaulted.
The victim, a 22-year-old woman, was walking to a car parked near Portland Street when she was approached by a man.
The offender attempted to use her phone then forced her into a nearby arch on Bloom Street, where it is believed the rape took place.
She managed to get away from the man and asked for a passer-by to call the police, but he had already made off in an unknown direction by the time police arrived.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
