Police are appealing for witnesses after woman was kidnapped and robbed in Astley.
At around 12.30am on Monday 19 September 2016 police were called after a woman was grabbed by three men and forced into the back of a white Transit van as she was walking along Peel Lane in Astley.
The men punched the woman in the face and covered her face with a cloth to stifle her screams.
The van was then driven to the Old Boathouse pub on Higher Green Lane in Astley, and two of the men ordered the woman to hand over a large amount of cash.
The men then drove off in an unknown direction leaving the woman terrified.
The van was later found burnt out in Tyldesley.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to help find those responsible.
