Two prison officers in West Yorkshire have been jailed for assaulting a teenager in a young offenders institution.
The incident happened at Wetherby Young Offenders Institution in December 2016 and involved a 17-year-old inmate.
Bradford Crown Court heard the attack described as “a punishment beating”, in retaliation for another prison officer being assaulted.
Mark Burnett was jailed for 15 months and Daniel Scott for 10 months after being found guilty of assault.
